  • 1 ounce Roma tomatoes
  • 1/2 ounce Roma tomatoes (crushed)
  • 1/8 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/8 teaspoon lemon juice
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon cayenne pepper (ground up)
  • 1/8 teaspoon cumin (ground up)
  • 1/8 red onion (chopped)
  • 1/8 white onion (diced)
  • 1/8 yellow onion (diced)
  • 1/2 ounce jalapeno peppers (cut up)
  • 1/8 bunch cilantro (cut up)

1. Fill a large sauce pan with water and bring it to a rolling boil. Place your tomatoes into the boiling water, you need to do this quickly. What this does is sets the color into the tomatoes and it makes the skins easier to remove.

2. Place your lemon juice, cumin, tomatoes, salt, cayenne pepper, and garlic powder into a sauce pan and mix it up well. Once the ingredients are mixed thoroughly, bring them to a boil on your stove. Once these ingredients are boiling, stir in the remaining ingredients.

3. Once the salsa has obtained a good consistency to satisfy the needs, throw it in the refrigerator to cool off until it’s time to be served.

Quick Healthy Recipe Note: You may substitute the tomatoes for canned tomatoes.
