Healthy Recipe: Egg Drop Soup In 5 Minutes!

That’s right! Here’s a healthy recipe for egg drop soup that only takes 5 minutes to make. This egg drop soup has a lot of benefits tied to it. There is 0 carbohydrates and it’s free from Gluten. That’s not to mention the number of nutrients that this healthy recipe comes packed with.

What You Need

• Sea Salt (This is to salt the soup to your taste.)

• Pepper (This is to add pepper flavor to your taste.)

• 1 or 2 Green Onions, You need to make sure that the green onions are chopped up small.

• 6 to 8 Pasteurized Eggs (Make sure they are beaten slightly.)

• 6 Cups of Chicken Broth

Bring the chicken broth to a boil in a pan. Once the chicken broth is boiling, go ahead and toss in your green onions, salt, and pepper. If you can get your amount of salt and pepper right in the egg drop soup, everyone will be hogging out on your creation.

Now is the time where you will be beating the eggs in a bowl of your choice.

Once the spices are right and everything is the way you want it, remove the chicken broth mixture from the heat. Pour the eggs that you beat into the broth while whisking the chicken broth mixture in the pot. If you want big pieces of egg, just whisk the mixture slowly. Teriyaki BBQ Sauce Recipe

What You Need

• 2 Tsp. Soy Sauce (Light)

• 2 Tbsp. Mustard

• 1 Garlic Clove (Make sure that you chop it up very finely.)

• 2 Tbsp. Rice Wine Vinegar

• ¼ of a Cup of Brown Sugar

• 1Tbsp. Molasses

• 1 Tsp. Fresh Ginger Root (Make sure that you chop it up very finely.)

Just mix up all of the ingredients in a small sauce pan. Turn on the heat and let it simmer for about 20 minutes. This sauce can be made ahead of time and refrigerated if you wish to do so.

Fight Cancer And Look Younger With New Cream

In addition, the overall skin color and appearance looked better. And, there was less sallowness, which is a common aging sign.

Another thing that is interesting to note is that the patients also recognized an obvious difference in their skin after receiving the drug. After 10 weeks, 19 out of 21 patients in one study said that they could see a noticeable difference. And, of those, 17 said they would do the procedure again.

What makes the drug so effective in terms of anti-aging? It actually damages the skin’s cells. Because of this, the body is forced to rebuild the skin. Usually, the skin is rebuilt in a very similar way as laser treatment. This is why during the treatment the patient’s skin will redden. Basically, it is a sign the treatment is working.

Because of the anti-aging benefits of the drug, there will most likely be a desire to obtain fluorouracil simply for cosmetic reasons. If this were possible, a person could apply the drug topically and receive the same anti-aging results as the chemotherapy patients. Not only would a topical cream help for anti-aging, but it would also help prevent certain skin cancers that may appear on our skin.

Improve Your Diet, Improve Your Hair

diet-improve-hairMy hair does not grow. I am serious about it. I spend 50 dollars every 2 months on the “best” hair supplements you can buy to stimulate hair growth. If I am honest, the only results I really see from the pills are growth in my nails. However, I am paranoid to quit the pills because I do not want my hair to get worse. Do not get me wrong – it is not that my hair is bad. It is just that I do not have those beautiful long locks that I would love. My hair is very fine, not too thick, and it seems to stop growing a few inches below my shoulders.

Since the b-carotene from the pills does not seem to be doing the trick, I have realized that maybe something else is off. I use good hair products – the best you can buy, so I know that my products are not causing the issue. The problem might lie in my diet.

It makes sense that just like we take care of our bodies we must also take care of our hair. However, we often forget the “diet” factor that is involved in the health of our hair. It is not enough to simply use good products. In fact, for your hair to stay healthy, it needs a proper diet.

One of the most important things that you can keep in mind for your hair is adding high quality antioxidant foods to your diet. This means you need to make sure that you eat enough fruits and vegetables. These foods are loaded with antioxidants that give your hair the nutrition it needs to remain healthy. Also, eat foods with whole grains for minerals and vitamins. And, lean protein will help you get the iron you need to keep your hair healthy.

nutritious-foodI read this fascinating article in Allure Magazine called “Junk Food Dieting”. It was an in-depth look at the diet food industry and the methods a lot of people, including myself take to stay thin. The article pointed out that there are certain go to items for dieters. Included in this list might be your lean cuisines, 100-calorie packs, gum, tasti delites, diet coke etc. Basically a lot of things that allowed you to get your junk food fix without consuming as many calories. Unfortunately, there is little if any nutritional value in the junk food diet.

One thing that really hit home with me in the article was the part that focused on frozen food – specifically lean cuisines. I personally want to look good and stay thin and I thought lean cuisines were a good way to achieve that. After all, they give you a portion-controlled meal that seems to be well balanced. However, the article points out that while this meal claims to be healthy, it is extremely high in sodium and not as healthy as you would assume.

Do you ever feel misled or frustrated when it comes to eating healthy like I did at that time? The truth of the matter is, not everything that claims to be healthy is. Unfortunately, we as consumers are not health experts. Therefore, it is up to us to learn how to choose wisely what we eat. If we can do this, we will find that our health will be better and the risk of getting many diseases will be lowered.

The first thing to remember is to focus on the food label. It was created for a reason. The label is regulated by the Food and Drug Administration to ensure that consumers were being told what they were eating. When you are reading the food label pay close attention to the “% Daily Value” column. This will help you to determine how the food is fitting into your diet. Also, look at the serving size and try to stick to it.

Another good thing to recognize is that the government regulates claims food companies can make in terms of fat content. For example, it is not uncommon to see a label that says something is “low” in fat. According to the government, for it to be low in fat it has to have less than 3 grams per serving. Also, if it is “light” compared to the regular brand it will have at least 50% less fat. “Reduced” fat has to have 25% less than the regular brand.

Keep your eyes out for nutritional options to add to your diet. Try not to be lured by colorful wording and nice labels. At the end of the day, food is food. And, the best food is the most nutritious.

Healthy Recipe: Teriyaki Chicken

What You Will Need

4 Chicken Breast Halves (Bone-In)
1 Cup Teriyaki Barbecue Sauce (This Recipe Will Be Posted Tomorrow)
1 Tbsp. Vegetable Oil

Brush the chicken breast halves lightly with the vegetable oil and place the chicken on a rack. You’re going to want to grill the chicken about 4-6 inches over medium coals for about 8 minutes. After the chicken has been cooking for 8 minutes, flip it over on the other side and grill it for about seven minutes.

Now is when you’re going to brush on the chicken teriyaki barbecue sauce. You’re going to continue to baste the chicken with the teriyaki barbecue chicken sauce while rapidly flipping the chicken for about 3 minutes, until the middle is no longer pink, or when the internal temp reaches at least 180 degrees.
